The food itself was OK, but not as hot as it should have been, and not up to past standards. After five minutes the waitress said "I didn't forget your spaghetti, it's coming!" We finally got it, when we were at least 3/4's done with our entrées. a number of large groups that I'm sure had made reservations (as such, they should have been better prepared with more employees). When we got our entrees, the side of spaghetti was not delivered at the same time. I'd like to add that the restaurant seemed quite understaffed as it was packed with people. saying they ran out of wine glasses (the waitress said they had planned to buy more the day before but a funeral event took up their time and they didn't have a chance - a bit too much information). This is BYOB, so they brought us two wine glasses and two water goblets. We were shown to our table, which needed more place settings, and they were delivered without forks (we had to ask for them). This time a young man, while pleasant, was dress in a black tee shirt, and casual jeans - more like you would find in a pizza shop (the bus help was dressed the same way). In the past, we were greeted and seated by a well dressed individual. Keep in mind, this restaurant offers entrees from the mid-teens to near $30, so we expect a more upscale experience. However, it had been over a year since we last were there - and we were astounded by the changes. My wife and I have been to Ariana's a number of times with friends over the years, enjoying the food and the overall pleasant experience. Hopefully the grandmother was able to enjoy her birthday with her family over the ridicule of not making a reservation for a party of 5 on probably the slowest night they’ve had that week. God bless the waiter that had to continually apologize for her behavior to multiple upset tables. We used to enjoy Ariana’s but after that absolute disgrace we will not be back. on top of that, the woman was so frazzled that two other tables came in waiting to be seated for over 10 minutes while she just continued to walk by them like they were nonexistent.they also got their food before being offered a glass of water. It was absolutely despicable and a total embarrassment. We have never felt so uncomfortable and on edge eating a restaurant in our lives. The woman continued to have multiple freak outs, arguing with the waiter, and making comments to other tables how she will be adding on the website that this will soon be a reservation only restaurant. So I guess they never put a message online or on their answering machine stating they were not open for business at the time. The waiter apologized on the lady’s behalf, and stated that they were closed for the 4th of July holiday. The party then came in, to which they stated that they tried calling a days prior multiple times to make a reservation and nobody answered the phone. She then proceeded to throw silverware at the back wall/counter top continuing to scream to herself. She slammed down menus at the hosts stand and at the table being set for the party raising her voice to herself stating how ridiculous it is that people don’t call and how people just expect to be accommodated. and the woman there, who seemed to be either the owner or the manager, had a total temper tantrum in front of the entire restaurant over this party coming. A party of 5 called in saying they were coming. The place was practically empty, it was us 2 along with 3 other tables there (more empty tables than filled ones). My mother and I went out to Ariana’s on a Sunday night around 5pm.
